Weddings and Other Ceremonies
Working in Kingston, Ontario and the surrounding area, we perform all types of custom ceremonies, including weddings, renewal of vow ceremonies, handfastings, funerals, child dedications or child blessings, house blessings, pet memorials, and any other custom ceremonies that you need to mark a rite of passage or life transition. Each service is custom-designed in collaboration with our clients to respect and acknowledge whatever traditions you value (atheist, humanist, non-religious, multi-faith, pagan, spiritual, etc.) in line with the values of the Canadian Unitarian Council, which trains and sponsors us. We are happy working with you to create a custom wedding ceremony that reflects your own religious or multi-faith background, or if you prefer an entirely non-religious ceremony, we can offer you many beautiful secular readings, vow options and selections of poetry.
Note that Unitarian-Universalists were the first denomination in Canada to offer same-sex weddings, and we are proud of it.
Please check out our Meet Our Officiants page for details on individual officiants (some are based in the rural areas around Kingston instead of the city), and if you have any questions or would like to book a date, please contact us. We look forward to guiding you in crafting a ceremony that you will happily remember for the rest of your lives!
